We were watching TV and my friend sort of started touching me. We nearly made out till I asked him to stop. I kept picturing my ex-boyfriend (we broke up three months ago but still in touch). But I am confused about all of it. The next day we just pretended like nothing happened. What was he thinking? He broke up with his girl a few months ago as well and is pretty much over her. But although he did behave strange at times when we lived together, it was only when he was drunk or something, never when he was sober and I never thought of us as anything but flatmates/friends...

I think your friend is interested in being more than just friends. He is single, you are single and I guess he thought his timing was perfect.

You never thought of you two as anything more than friends. He, on the other hand, did think beyond flatmates. Never mind, you've put him straight now.
