This is when you start introducing her to your other friends, hoping that they'll hit it off and start hanging out. Or ask your boyfriend if he has any single friends that he could hook up with your friend to occupy her time.
If none of the above work, then you're going to start to have to blow her off a bit. Then she will get the hint, she's being a bit too clingy. That's the only indirect way to do it..without flat out telling her that she needs to stop being up your butt.
