My friend is always on my mind -- I think I'm in love and I don't want to screw it up

A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I think im in love with my flatmate, im not sure how she feels about me. My other flatmates and friends keep saying we look like a couple. She is always on my mind and when she is around im always happier, she always comes onto my room and we talk for ages. On holiday at the moment and i literal can't stand being apart from her and i still have another 4 weeks to go. So i want to know what to do as i don't have a clue, as i have never felt this way about one of my friends and i really don't want to screw it up.

You could casually and jokingly bring it up during one of those chat sessions. See how she responds. You'll know pretty quickly if there is any semblance of truth in a positive reaction.
