A male United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Dear all,

Basically I suffer with anxiety and cyclothymia. I attend CBT when agreed with my therapist. I have been progressing very well with my health and tackling my anxiety well. I have understand that initial thoughts about certain situations turn out better than expected. However the situation is this, a very loving friend of mine has invited me to go with her to Paris. I said yes. She then later acknowledged that some of her work colleagues might also go. Now this changes things for me cuz this would b a huge step. I don't know any of these people and I fear I will not like them or get along with them. Sure they r most likely good ppl bt I fear of being too quiet and antisocial. This would be a really big step for me and I know if I don't go I'll regret it but if I do go I may ruin our friendship by doing stupid things.

Thank u for ur time x
