 There's not much you can do about it if his job takes up his time. He's probably stressed out about it too. Be supportive and get some activities to fill the time. Good luck!!

 Not much you can do..Just stick it out, and can the best of it on the days you do see him. Does he get vacation or personal time? If so he can bank that up and use it to spend those days off with you. Looks like you're going to have to get a hobby to fill the time slots you have open.
