My friend got mad at me and told me to not talk to him

i need to know what to do with my problem? today i was at work. everything was going well.. my friend works with me he has always been understanding but today. i dont know what went wrong or what happen when i wanted to say hi to him. he just told me dont talk to me today... i was like what? what did i do?... i ask him again but he just told me what dont u understand that i dont want you to talk to me.. i felt that my heart was tearing into pieces.. i started to cry ofcourse not in front of him... my coworkers would ask me whats wrong? i told them but they would tell me blow him off...so i did..for a while i didnt speak to him all day at work.. until before i left home... i told him can i ask you a question? but he just told me i rather you not ask me anything i will see you later... out of the blue he just said that.. now i dont know what to think.. i dont know what i did to him.. i dont know why he is mad.???? what should i do help me please..

Just sit tight and wait. Don't sit there trying to work out what you did. Unless he tells you, you didn't do anything. He needs to tell you and unless he does, you can probably take it that he's just being an ass.

Sometimes people get mad at each other, when they should be mad at themselves. Him being angry may have nothing to do with you. It may be him. Stop blaming yourself and focus on yourself for now. If he's a good friend, he will come back and explain himself. If not, you can take it that he's a not that good a friend.
