My friend goes on spending binges.... I really like him and am not sure what to do?

so herre it goes.. i have been hoooking up with some one for a while now we run in the same group of friends and all of his friends say that since we have been a thing he ha s been acting strange i didnt see it untill they told me. what should i do should i ask him what his deal is or should i just let him be the asshole that he is. he is really making me worried with all the partying and stuff he is doing. i tried to talk to him but he said he wouldnt do it anymore then i left for the weekend finding out that he spent $2000 on parties and stuff. he hasnt been answering any of mine or his friends calls he keeps starting fights with all of us when we try to help. i feel like he needs an intervention but i dont want to do the good cop bad cop thing. i just am at a loss of things to do. i really like him and i dont want to see this all end. help me please!!

Well if its his money let him blow it, he'll learn when some time in the near future he has nothing and nobody likes him anymore. And i'd advice you to get outta there before it gets worse and he starts with your money!
