There on and off, they fight all they time, his girlfriend says she doesn't trust him or believe him but she still spends most of her time with him. She practically lives at his apartment. And he is very unhappy and not himself since being with this girl i think thats why he cheated on her, but he went back to her and now needless to say he bought her a puppy for her birthday. Why would he do that when there relationship in such a bad state? Is this an attempt to cover up the cheating? It just seems as though buying a pet is a way of making it "seem" like everybody is one big happy family when thats really not the case at all. So why would he buy her a puppy? And is this a means for fixing a relationship? Reply to this Question Share |

I know hes a friend but you have to leave them to it. He's unhappy but hes with her because he loves her and vice versa. I think they're trying to make this relationship work and until they're both ready to admit defeat and ditch the relationship they have they will continue to stay together.Don't let this effect you and just be a good friend to him when he needs it. xoxoxo
