Then we started hanging out outside of work occasionally. And now I would consider him my best friend. About a year ago we started infrequently fooling around. Every month or two something would happen. He didnt want to have sex because he was worried it would ruin our friendship and so we avoided it. But then it happened. And now, I feel like he is pulling away. He is colder and more distant. What can I do to get it back to where it was? Why is he acting so different from before?

I have been in a simular situation, all you need to do is go out to the places or do the things you most enjoyed when you were really close friends. I think, like my friend he doesnt want to fall for you as he doesnt want to lose you as a friend. Just speak with him.
Good luck and hope this has helped alittle. xx
