If he's active military, you have to get used to long periods you won't hear from him. Especially, if he is deployed on a mission. Sometimes soldiers cannot make outside contact when they are in the middle of military business. It's not like a 9 to 5 job. There is so much going on in Nigeria at this time. I've been watching the news.
If you don't have a warm and friendly relationship
with your future in-laws; you'll often be in the dark.
So call as many of his kin as you can reach.

 Your original post said "abmission." The best I could figure it as was "a mission," but I'm not certain. Did he go on a mission with a group? Or somewhere else? What type of place did he go and with whome? What are his duties while he is away and how long has he been gone? Are there dangers where he is?
