writes:my ex and i text everyday and talk about everything School,family,work,cars and Guys/Girls we find attractive and i mean everything.We even go out to eat and see movies together, its like were best friends. The thing is he knows i have feelings for him and he says he likes me a lot too, but isn't looking for anything serious. I dont know what to do, do i take a break from him or stay around and see what can happen?

 I think he is "just not that into you" as anything then a friend and I don't think that will change.
The more time you spend with him, the harder it is going to be for you to find someone who wants you in the same way you want them.
It is nice to have a good friend, but you don't like him as a friend, you just "pretend" (in lack of a better word) in hoped that he will realize that you two are a good fit. You are basically stringing yourself along.
