When him and i were dating i always made it known to him that i thought he was the most sexist man in the world and that no one could ever change the way i thought about him or replace him.Even after the break up we are still friends. We still act like bf gf. YOu know kissing hugging cuddling fooling around stuff. But there was one nite where he told me that he didnt what me to get hurt. He told me that he thinks there is someone better for me out there and that there is a million fishes out there me to choice from. (that hurt me cuz i dont know if he ever wants to date me again or if he truly thinks that i can do better then him) I dont know how to talk this. I never give up and i wont give up on him. I just dont know what he means or anything. He tells me that he cares for me alot to no end. I just cant understand y it is that even tho he doesnt what a gf right now y he wouldnt want to true again sometime down the road. He did tell me that he would date me again, but then he throws things up like what i said above. Im afaird that ill never be with him as a bf gf thing again. I miss him so much even when him and i are togather cuz i want nothing but for him to be happy.I dont know what to do..........

haha my ex did the same thing,and hun trust me on this one,he still loves you, but knows that getting involved with you again will hurt not onley him but you if you to break up again,just be happy you have him for now im in the same situation with my ex and i have no clue what to do eather haha

When they say you could do better, it usually means they think the relationship's not quite right, and want to spare your feelings. I personally hate when guys
say that, and one did to me a long time ago. I still don't know if he was better than me, heard he got married and had triplets. I'm really glad I didn't marry him
because he didn't respect me enough.
Time will tell, but I would think back to the person you were before you met him.

He is playing a game with you, its called "KEEPING MY OPTIONS OPEN"
He knows how much you care for him, an as a result you are not moving on. Its great to stay mates with an ex, but from your letter, I would say he is treating you more than a mate.
He is right about one thing, you can find someone else, and you should. Why wait for him to grow up.
Just stay mates but move on.
