My ex is very flirty and gives me all the right signals, but does he want a relationship with me?

Question - (2 August 2008) 1 Answers - (Newest, 3 August 2008)
A female United Kingdom age 41-50, anonymous writes:

My ex boyfriend and I broke up about 8 months ago. We were great together and the breakup was mostly to do with the pressures of living together. We have remained great friends since. Both of us now have our own houses.

Lately he has been very flirty, very touchy feely and very cuddly with me. He acts alot like the way we used to when we were in a relationship. He does the little things I like, like tickling a specific spot on my back. If we ever go out, for whatever reason or occasion, he always tells me I look hot, or gorgeous, and is so complimentary towards me. He even acts like this in front of his guy friends and our families.

Yet when he was telling me about a girl who liked him, he said he didn't want a relationship at the moment.

So I'm kinda scared to bring up the subject of how he feels about me, as it might open a big can of worms!

How would you read this, if you were me??

Does he want me back?
