writes:my ex boyfriend and i have been broken up 6 mths. he just got a new girlfriend 3weeks ago[she asked him out he rescued her from a bad marriage]. he wants us to be friends. he told a close friend of mine that if i ever needed anything i was to just ask him and if i didn't and she knew i needed something for her to tell him. it was his idea to break up. but he gets jealous of me with someone else. he wants me and his new girl friend to be friends.it seems to me they're both on a rebound and she rebounds from one guy to the next before she leaves the one before[ my ex is #6 in a row]. i was my ex very first girl friend. please give me your opinion

Sound to me that he's really confused and has a problem in letting go! The only way to move on from him is to let him know that you can take care of your own and he had his chance and blew it (hard i know!), and he will just have to deal with his feelings on his own and until he is over you not to have any form of contact, as a friendship at this stage will only lead to complications and chances are you will get hurt badly but his guy! Make sure you stay strong and focused. GOOD LUCK
