If it was so good why did you finish with each other. Who finished with who? I wouldn't go back but that is me. Do think very carefully before you take up this invite. I wish you well.

maybe he is coming around but i wouldnt be too sure so leave a room for disapointment. it can be he asked u bcos his family knows about u and he is doesnt know how to tell them u guys are not together anymore (if u were formerly introduced before)and they told him to invite u. if u dont mind u can just ask him why he invited u and judge from his answers. and the type of party they are throwing can also tell u a lot about his intentions i.e. if its a family only gathering u will know he is interested but if its just a party u will know he might not be intersted so find out 4 ur sake. good luck
