My ex has been telling my friend he really misses me. Thing is, I feel I've moved on, what should I do?

A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

long story short:

With my ex for well over a year, we argued a lot, split a lot. A couple of weeks ago he ended it for good, and I thought it was really over this time (as it has been for over 2 weeks) then today my friend shows me messages he's sent her today... he really misses me, loves me etc.. and has asked her to ask me to meet him.

I love him to bits and really miss him (and I was the one who's been wanting to try it again for the past two weeks) but in the last few days, I guess I've just accepted it. Got talking to new guys, arranging things with friends (where usually I spent all my time with him) and I've cleared most of the stuff he's got me into bags..

I don't know what to do. I could ramble on, but gotta go out, thanks in advance for your help x

Move on. The relationship is not meant to be if you fought and split up a lot. He's probably just feeling lonely now and misses getting laid. Move on!!
