I really loved her and everything and when she told me this, she really broke my heart and ruined my summer. Im not allowed to be her friend anymore. Today was the first day of school and she is already in two of my classes. I also don't want to be her friend either anymore. But in class, I can't help to look at her or see if she is looking at me. I don't want to be like this my whole year or it'll ruin my last year with my friends and stuff. I just don't want to have to deal with this. Can you please help. Please help me have a great year.

I hated when that happened to me! It's like there's so many other teachers and different hours for her to be in but of course she's in yours. I dealt with these ex best friends by like the realist suggested sit on the other side of the room, make no eye contact, and strike up conversation with the others sitting around you even if you don't know them. One time, I even sat near her and made friends with all the sitting around me making her look like an outcast. But, I was one of those catty girls. Bottom line, there's other people in the class to be friends with besides her. Have a great school year!

When your in class sit as far away from her as possible and try to keep yourself occupied with the class (I know that one can be tough) or with someone else that you know in the class. You each need your space to straighten things out and live life. Maybe in time you two can be friends again but for now I would just keep my distance.
