Don't do the salt thing, dogs livers cannot handle it and you will make the dog ill.
My dog takes my girlfriends pants under the bed for a chew, they like the smell.
Once after sex I wiped on a sock and chucked it on the floor and he was rolling all over that sick trying to smell like it!!
GF wasn't impressed when I told her why he was doing it!!
Dogs, gotta love em

I suggest you investigate the salt thing a little more before putting what may be a harmful excess in to your dogs dinner.
If you go and compare a premium dry dog food (at a pet shop or vet clinic)to the quality of stuff they sell in supermarket lines, the lower salt levels in the premium food is one of the main differences - and simply because just like humans too much salt is not good for dogs either and can lead to medical issues.
Dogs have survived naturally (wild) for thousands upon thousands of years and I bet you never seen any pulled up next to their quarry with their salt shaker.

Discharge? I never heard of a woman who stopped getting the discharge. If its too much for comfort, use panty liners.

Buy a laundry hamper and put your dirty undies in there then your dog can't get to them!

As for the dog, dont leave your panties lying around - either wash them by hand when you change them or else put them in the laundry and make sure that the dog cannot get into the laundry area by keeping the door closed, or if that is not possible by putting the laundry basket on a higher surface so that the dog is unable to get to the underwear.

Discharge tends to happen more when ovuluating so as long as you are having periods expect an increase at certain times of the month.
As for the dog with the undie eating fetish - Put your underwear in the laundry basket and shut the laundry door.
