Have you tried telling them you'd really really want to go? Be pro-active, do some reasearch online, figure out the fastest and least expensive way to go, stay, and come back. Check if anyone else you know is going so maybe you can share the expenses.
And while you're at it, you might want to find a role model who's done something a little more worthwhile...or not. Up to you, really. I mean, I like musicians too, but I can't think of any that qualify as 'role models' (Bono apart).

Tell them how important it is to you and how much you want to see her. Make sure it's ok with them before you buy the tickets. Also you could see if a friend would want to go and them one of your parents could drive since you will probably have to stay in a hotel one night.
