Hi.

I've got a bit of a problem. I have admired a girl for sometime and would love to ask her out. I haven't plucked up the courage so far, I was going to today but the only trouble is I found out today she is moving away for the summer. Chances are I won't see her till September now, shes bound to meet new people. I have a problem with trust as my last girlfriend cheated on me whilst we were apart. I think this girl is a much nicer person but is she worth pursuing? Or am i setting myself up for more hurt and dissappointment?

Phoebe Halliwell agony auntHi,

of course you go for this girl! It's better to know that she's gone away with your name on her then to have gone away single and leave you kicking yourself.

Ask her out

ask her out

ask her out!

If she says no then at least you know you've tried and you may be in-secure about previous relationships but you can never- EVER give up on love.

Hope she says a big fat YES and all goes well,

Phoebe

Anja agony auntBetter to have loved and lost then to have not loved at all!! So in my opinion I reckon you should see if she would like to meet up for a leaving drink or something before she goes, she may be waiting for you to make a move, hopefully she feels the same. If not you will know soon enough, rather then be thinkibg...'what if...'!! Go for it...and ok, she may meet people etc, but if she really is interested in you, I'm sure she will wait til she gets back.
