If you love your boyfriend, stay with him. Your brother won't stop being your brother anyway. If your boyfriend gossiped your brother he should apologize. That will help for sure, and is the right thing to do.

reader, anonymous, writes (20 April 2011): if they both love you there shouldnt be a choice. if your boyfriend is sorry and doesnt do it again then that should be okay. im sure your brother just wants whats right for you but most people have someone in their partners family who doesnt like them, its just something to overcome. if you know he is right for you then stay with him and your family should start to accept this. good luck
