My brother acts like my parent

okay i live with my parents and my older brother...

but when ever i want to go some where i always have to ask my older bro. when i go to movies,beach, friends house, coffe, store, etc... i have to ask him for permision. its like i ask/tell my parents they are like ask your brother? im like wtf why i shouldnt have to he my bro not my parent!!!!

then arguements start withh the parents..

i just want to have a life...

if my parent say ok be home by .... or something like that not no you can go your brother says its not a good idea... what can i do....

lolz...i have the same set of family you have. i cant do anything till my brother allows. you know once i had this sentimental talk with my brother about how i felt and all...he got a bit loose after that...maybe u could try that...once you cry in front of him , he will do anything you say...we brothers cant see our sisters crying at any cost

well my parents are 50+

and my brother is 30+

im 18..

i love my brother hes a great role model and i look up to him.it just sux that my parnets dont want to take resposability over me.... its like they kinnda just gave custudy to him...

i think your parents feel out of touch with whats safe and your brother is closer to your age so he will know more

personally i don't agree with it but i think you will just have to put up with it and try to be nice to your brother so he lets you out more
