 sounds like you may have given her some reason to think you are not worthy of her son... some mothers however are very over protective of their children and if she is single could be scared of loosing her son and is attempting to push you out of his life brcause she isn't ready to let him go yet... there are many reasons why she may act the way she did but without knowing the facts we cant really advice you.

 Have you met her before? How long have you been dating her son? Has there ever been any fighting between both of you before? Have you and your boyfriend ever broken up? Was there ever cheating involved? Does his mom know your mom?
Unless his mom was drinking or taking some sort of drug, there was something that set her off. Your post is incomplete, because we don't know the history of your relationship with your boyfriend and whether or not you met his mom before.
