writes: My boyfriend loves me, and I love him and things have been going better and better lately. But he has one old friend who is a girl, NOT EVER a romantic attachment, who studiously avoids me at social gatherings. Once when he wasn't there, she even left early to avoid me (I heard). I just don't get it. ???? Why does she dislike me? If she is a good friend to him, shouldn't she at least be more accepting of me and say "Hello"? I always say "Hello" to her, and try to be friendly for his sake. (Though personally I think she is a little creepy.) Yeah maybe your boyfriend never thought of her in a romantic way, her actions sure indicate to me that there's a good chance she views him in a romatic light. Give her the space she needs, you have the guy after all.
