Love and sex are not entwined BUT I personally can't understand loving someone and NOT having sex. I can see the other way around working but not very well in the lomg run. Sex is a physical activity(a bodily function, if you will) while love is all incompasing and very complicated. There was a song verse, "you can't have one without the other" seems to work for most.

sex and making love are essentially the same thing, but can be viewed as different kinds of sex.
There is sex which there are so many different kinds of and then there is making love which is deemed more slow, loving and romantic (but is still sex). So your boyfriend is wrong when he says there is no such thing.
As for the question about having sex with another man, I haven't got a clue what you're bf is on about.

That's a really strange answer to give you. Talk to him about it. He might separate the two because sex isn't as emotional for men as it is for women, but most men I know would still say that sex with someone who you really love is different, so I don't know.
Good Luck

I don't know, I don't understand what he means either. You should ask him.
