Hi There,

I like a guy and I thought this guy liked me. I am 26, he is 24.

Things were going quite well and we were seeing each other a couple of times a week he text me quite a lot in between too. He went away recently to see family for couple of weeks abroad and when he got back he sent me a text saying that he wanted to see me very soon. I replied saying it would be nice to meet up and now I haven't heard from him for about 5 days! It's not really like him to not reply but I don't feel I should contact him as I don't feel I should chase a guy.

He does live near me and I am likely to see him out and about this weekend.

What do you think I should do?

Thanks xx

Well, When I went away to london i had a boyfriend back home waiting for me. I cheated on him the whole time in london and i'd call him everyday telling him i missed him. But did i really? somewhat, but not especially.

when i came back i was happy to see him, but i wasn't happy. I felt

guilty and i missed the guy back in london. SO, i was distant and eventually

Broke it off...he wasn't my type anyway...but...shit happens..and i know it does because I DO IT!! now my new bf is coming back from 2 weeks away and i think the worst of it..but, w.e...i did it to my old bf...karma. but im not gonna dwell on it and try to find out if anything happened.

Something like this happened to me once - I had just starting dating this girl and she went away for 5 days, and called me the first 3 days saying how much she was missing me.

Then nothing.

Then, on the date she returned, did not call.

I called the next day and said why haven't you called and shall we see each other tonight? She was cool.

I asked what was wrong. She said that she had been to a party while away and had slept with someone else and felt so dreadful about it that she just couldn't call me.

We ended up seeing each other that evening and talking everything through, and I was prepared to give it another go.

It lasted for another 9 months, which was enjoyable, so I think it was worth calling her that date.

So, if he said he missed you and then hasn't contacted you for 5 days, you should just call to say "I miss you, you said you missed me, is everything okay?" and see what the story is.

AskEve agony auntI think he really does want to see you otherwise he would never have text you but he has other things to do too. I wouldn't text him back. You already did that saying that would be nice. I agree, don't run after him, if he's interested he will get back to you. Just have patience.
