writes:This is a bit of a strange question but something I'm curious about. Started seeing a guy. He's not massively obese but he is overweight. I don't mind that though cos he's such a lovely guy and he makes me laugh loads. We've been getting closer lately and more intimate, and I think we might have sex soon. We're both quite experienced - so no problems or questions there. My question however is, how does sex work when one partner is "heavier" than the other? Is missionary (the man on top) position still comfortable? Are there positions which might not be possible? Are there positions which are easier? I want our relationship to work and I know he's sensitive about his weight so I really just want to go into this maybe knowing what will work best so as not to make him feel uncomfortable - physically and emotionally.

My boyfriend is overweight also, while he is quite a bit larger than me missionary is still quite comfortable. Having his weight on top of me is quite intimate.

Hey i'm a guy who's also a bit on the heavier side and i must confess that missionary is not all that easy for both of us.I enjoy and usually insist on woman on top though she says it causes more pain but it's more comfortable for me.So in my opinion woman top is the best option.Doggie is also easy for guys on the heavier side.Spooning is another though you may still find it uncomfortable if he's too heavy for your comfort.Anyway if you wana know more mail me.

 My husband is pretty chubby, and we do well in almost any position we want. It is uncomfortable for me when we do missionary and he rests forward on his arms, because then it feels like I'm being smothered and can't breathe. (He's just got a big belly...) When he comes up on his knees and holds my hips and I'm still on my back, it works out nice. Doggy style is definitely the easiest, but sometimes you want that intimacy of facing each other, so lay on your side in the fetal position with him on his knees, and that's pretty easy and you two can still look at and touch each other.

 Here are a few positions that are great if your partner is on the cuddly side. Spoons, woman on top and doggy position. Sex burns off more calories than a workout at the gym and is a lot more fun Lol. Hope this helps my dear. Happy Loving Dusky xxx
