Hi every1. I'm really upset. My boyfriend is the only one for me yet he thinks I'm going to cheat. He says when lads talk to me I flirt back and act like I'm with them but this isn't the case! I'm just being polite! An example: A couple of weeks ago I was talking to a male friend of mine who i work with. He's slightly older than me and we have a laugh in the office. He grabbed my hand in a friendly gesture and i got close to him as i couldnt hear what e was saying (as we were in a club) Next thing i know, my man is stood there shouting at my colleague saying 'do you know who i am?' When my colleague (and everyone I know) knows who he is cuz i never shut up about him. My collegue went off upset and my bf and I argued and split up. We've got back together but he told me last nite he can't get over it. Although I spoke to my collegue and my bf seperately and said i understood my bfs reaction but i never meant anything by my gesture. My collegue even apologised to him the next week when we were out again, saying he knows we're together and how much we love each other and he didnt mean anything by it either but it's still not good enough for my bf. I never meant anything more than just a friendly gesture and would never imply anything more to any man because I love the one I'm with. It's just sometimes I cant get rid of them.Plus, I dont wanna be thrown outta clubs for slapping men for looking at me in the 'wrong way' like my bf said some of his exs did. Im not like that at all and think telling them im happy with someone and being polite is the best way. Any advice?
