A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 3 years now and we are both 17 and we love each other very very much, the only problem is im the loving and caring type and always want affection, when he shows it when he wants to, i mean he is a great boyfriend but i feel i put too much into the relationship and he doesn't.

He always plays games rather than talking to me especially that im grounded and i only can talk to him on weekends he never wants to have time to even talk before we can't on the weekdays. He used to be so affectionate and now he rarely does it and it bothers me. I feel like he either doesn't feel the love anymore or theres something he's not telling me and he is irritated or bugged by it.

A female reader, domybest United Kingdom +, writes (29 November 2009):

You have to talk to him about this, its the only way to sort it out. If u let it carry on then u will forever be unhappy.

Tell him how u feel... And communicate with him to work at it. Good luck, be open and honest, you've been with him for so long u should feel comfortable enough to sit him down and just talk to him.

Go for it!xx
