My boyfriend normally goes every year (it's on different dates each time) but we had split up for a year and have not long got back together. We had both already planned trips with our friends for this year so I am going away for a weekend next month and he recently asked me what date (this trip is also planned for next month on a different weekend). My boyfriend and I have also just been on different holidays for a week (also already planned). When we were together the first time some of the lads wives/girlfriends were there, then the second time I went. I know that every time this trip happens someone takes their partner, trouble is my boyfriend doesn't like me going unless his best friend takes his girlfriend. How should I approach this one without arguing? Should I suggest doing something that weekend or leave it any say nothing until he mentions it and what do I say then?

I still say that you should find out who's going and then ask questions.

Ask him if his friends partner is going. If she's not and he doesn't invite you, he wants to go alone. That doesn't make him bad either. Why is it so important for you to go? If everybody was bring a partner and he left you out, that would be different.
