Maybe your bf feels threatened by your best mate and is trying to show dominance by bringing him down. I guess just make sure when all 3 of you are hanging out don't be flirtatious to your bestmate( that's if you are flirtatious ) your bf will acknowledge himself as the "dominate male" and probly stop bugging your friend.
