It’s not a word I’ve ever heard of before. IT seems as though it’s a slang word. Urban Dictionary offers several meanings so I think it confuses the situation rather than clarifies it. Tell him what you think it means and see what he says. Perhaps the combination of bossy and foxy? I’d go with that one because it would be a light-hearted, jokey thing to say. Or he was calling you a nerd in the spirit of banter. Unless of course the thing you were picking up was a box, or was contained in a large box, and he was trying to make some strange humorous observation out of it. I’m pretty stumped myself on this one to be honest.

 Boxey can refer to your figure, like if you don't have much of a waist and the body is more box shaped than hourglass.

 I don't know what it means, never heard it before. Maybe he just made up a word. Anyway, he sounds really childish if he wouldn't even tell you what he means. Sounds like he wanted to create drama, or maybe he was mad at you?
