My boyfriend always goes home each festive season, I think he has somebody else there

hi friends i know that i can count on you,its been two years spending festive on my own and this is killing me.my boyfriend always when it is festive he always goes home i've tried to talk to him about this but he always do it and this makes me think he got someone at home.he knows that i cant go with him cause his mother hate me plz help me am i overreacting or am i right to angry.he is going today and he will be back next year is it possible leave someone you love for such a long time.it is not like i dont want him to visit his relatives he always go during the year and now he just decided to leave me alone i dont know what to do cause i love him please help me!!!
