A female reader, TELLULAH United Kingdom +, writes (22 August 2008):

TELLULAH agony auntHey!!

First! dont ever be Jealous of somebody elses success, or the fact that they seem to be favoured. If you are good at your job it will shine through and you will eventually be noticed. Dont quit because you feel a little miffed at the other girls poularity, remember one day that could be you, and some other poor girl could be feeling the same.

Its not possible to go through life and always be liked. When I first came into the place I work now, I started at the bottom. I remember at my interview, my boss asking me 'What job do you see yourself doing in the future' I told him in my cheeky way 'Yours'

Well it took me a lot of hard work, and 13 years, but I got it. But it wasnt easy, I had to put up with an awfull lot nasty and hurtfull jealousy on the way.

So dont be such a wuss, and work your way up. Its working for the girl your thinking of leaving over.
