writes:hi (:i have been with my boyfriend for 17 months, and we love eachother so much. hes my first love nd im so happy with him.. just one thing:i dont think his family like me very much, i dont know what i have done to upset them? i know me and my boyfriend argue but what relationship doesnt argue?! and they're not major they're just petty things.but anyway, they never invite me to things and my boyfiend always ends up arguing with them cos they never invite me, they dont say why, i just feel left out, cos i thoght they liked me and i like them, he has 2 sisters and an older brother and i get along with them aswel,and they're all in a relationships and they're boyfriends/girlfriend always get invited to family things and i never do. i just dont understand why, i have never done anything to any of them.so i dont know what to do about this, i love my boyfriend dearly i just dont want to hurt his feelings, but my feelings are worse cos of this. My family love my boyfriend, they welcome him to our home, but when i go to his house, i feel like im unwanted.im so upset by it i dont know what to do.please help me :( thankyou.  Couldn't it just be, that you being so young and just dating their son, they don't see you as "official " enough yet to be included in family events ?
Some families are like that, they are pleased to include in their family events only the official fiances or at least long-time partners.
