 Whatever you do, don't get legally tied to him in any way. Keep your finances totally separate. Drunk drivers, if they don't get a close call and wise up, eventually get nailed. It's all down hill after that financially.

YOu get into an accident while drunk, insurance dont cover you and if you get sued you will lose 60% of your paycheque for life.
I met a guy at a pub and it happened to him. The rest of his life he gets his wage garnished and he will never own nothing in his life.
He regrets it and wishes he was dead,cause he works for free now.
My advise to you since i was driving drunk all the time from 16-28 is that only way hes gonna learn is it happening to him.
Yes i got in a few accidents from being to drunk,but i somehow got away with it. I have four 24 hours behind my belt and that was enough for me since the laws are changing now.
I would rather pay 50bucks for a taxi or take a bus which i now enjoy drinking on the bus to get to my destination cause you dont have to concentrate and you have people around to talk to lol. Im around a sky train so its easier for me but if your in the country side your sorta screwed.
Good luck now,cause in the future you might have a husband whos wages will be gaunished. So you better get a good job so you can pay his bills too.
