reader, anonymous, writes (23 May 2005): If you are thinking that leaving is an option then maybe it is the not just the house that has become a "fixer upper" that is not roomy enough for two....If the house is that the problem, YOU take the initiative to change it...find another home you can afford, tell him you and the kids are going to be living there and that you want him to come too...NO anger , NO threats...just you fixing a problem he refused to address.
