writes: He's 19 years older than me........I've been seeing my boyfriend for well over a year now. When we first got together i thought and was also told by his friend that he was only 28. 3 months later i asked him what he wanted for his birthday, he told me nothing and to save it for the year after as it was his 40th. Why did he do this to me as i'm now struggling to tell my family his real age. I love him and the age doesnt bother me but it will with my family. Am i just been childish? Reply to this Question

Why is it necessary to tell mom and dad the boyfriend's age anyway?...BUT consider how the age difference will affect the rest of your life . When you are 40 and he is 60 will it matter then??

Well girl u should stick with ur boyfriend as u love him doo much.i think u should take ur boyfriend to ur parents and show them how good,helpful and trustworthy is ur boyfriend is i m sure ur parents will understand ur struggle for ur true love still if he is 19 years older than u. go for it girl talk to ur family and see how do they react.I m sure something positive will occour in ur life..
