Well, from a guy's perspective, you don't need to feel ashamed about your pubic hair. But I too prefer my partner to be shaved. My wife and I were married about 7 yrs before she would finally shave. I never tried to pressure her. But when we decided to do it, we both shaved at the same time. I still shave every month or so, but she shaves every other day now. She was scared to do it, but once she did, she loves the feel of being smooth. And it is very arousing for both of us. She has been shaved for 5 years now. So, there's nothing wrong with shaving, but do it for you, not someone else. She just trimmed hers as short as possible with my mustache trimmer, and then finished shaving with shaving cream in the shower while doing her legs.

Your boyfriend is obviously a complete hypocrite.

Tell him that is he shaves or waxes his off first, and you like the look and feel of it, then you might think about shaving or waxing your own off.

It is your pubic hair and it is nothing to feel ashamed off. Everyone has it, lest they have a serious hormonal imbalance. Hopefully he not as much of a judgemental, peer-pressured jerk in other aspects of your relationship.

I'm surprised that you are even entertaining the idea of shaving or trimming your bush just to please your boyfriend's petty and temporary whim, however to test his request invite him to join you in a shared session of either careful trimming or shaving right down with a razor for mutual pleasure.

My wife and I have enjoyed both the visual and sensory aid of full pubic hair growth for many years and on occasions for variety we shave right down for additional pleasures.

The differences are illusory really for the regrowth begins immediately and we prefer to be trimmed. The important thing is to enjoy and appreciate your natural abundance.

Regards,

A and K

Just shave it off. I started when i was gourteen and it only was itchy a couple of times then i got used to it. If u do get a little cut it is nothing to worry about. It happens to everyone. But when u do shave it off the feeling of nothing down there is so good and u dont have to worry about hiding it either

Your boyfriend just doesn't have complicated taste. A woman waits 10-12 years to grow pubic hair, then cuts it off? I think pubic hair makes a woman even more of one.

edwina90505 agony auntI use a Wilkinson Intuition with my morning shower. After you get used to it, it takes about 1 minute a day. You'll wonder why you didn't do it before. And as for sex, yummy!

stina agony auntHey Anon,

Adding on to what Lemonpixie suggested:

If you're comfortable getting it waxed, then you could go have the hair removed by a professional (check the locals salons by your house). It will sting at first, but it stays smooth an average of 4 weeks. You can talk to the person who will be waxing you about the process. If you shave, it grows back quite a bit faster.

Take care.

Lemonpixie agony auntWell first off you shouldnt be ashamed of it... maybe trimming it a little is a good solution, because shaving yourself completyely is tricky and can be painful. First of make sure you have a mirror. Secondly, you may want to purchase a good electric shaver, they do have some specifically for the bikini region... You may also need scissors. I usually use scissors to trim it short and a razor neatin it up. Just be cautous and also find a after shave lotion because the skin is quite sensitive down there and the first few times it can be itchy and uncomfortable
