writes:My best friend and i are very close and ive noticed his gf getting jealous or upset about our friendship.but not to long ago he had broken up with her, and he told me he was sick and tired of her treating him wrong, but during the time they had still been dating he had told me that i cant tell anyone what he and i talk about (as best friends we have talked about sex to everything and i didnt mind until he tried talking me into having sex, and he had mentioned having it with him, he told me he was joking but i knew it wasnt)i was a little confused to say yes or no to this question but i just said ok, i liked someone else but i never told him still havent, becuz every time i talk about me dating a guy he objects to me having a bf , which confuses me more, but with all this going on ive been there for him and through his break up right now.but my question is why is my best friend acting like this.i apologize for the mixed up story

 Well maybe with your close friendship he started having FEELINGS towards you. You're the one that's always there for him, you care for him and he appreciates that. So he probably has feelings for you and maybe doesn't know how to say it. Apparently you guys can talk about anything..and he wanted to get sexual with you, there's a chance he wasn't joking. So maybe you could talk to him about it. Ask him if he would ever go out with you or something, but jokingly so he doesn't think you're being serious.Good luck
