I personally think as a true friend, you are going to have to tell her one day. She probably confides in you about her feelings for this guy and (not trying to be mean) but you sit there and soak it all up. That's no good...Because you may have feelings for him as well. I would rather that you as her best friend tell her the truth, before she hears it from someone else....
Tip: Never ever date one of your relatives or friends ex's it's just not a good practice. Because in the end you will be the one who will end up with a bad reputation....Tell Her and Get it Over With.

 I tink you should think what is more imoprtant to you.
Then if its the guy, think twice cause the relationship with him may not work out and then you may loose a friend forever.
