So much it's almost obsessive.I've given up a guy for one of my best friends before but it didn't work out for them and I regretted it. But i'm afraid. I don't want to lost a friend, but I don't want to lose another chance either.What should I do?

Sigh, I came onto this sight for the same problem. Out of the advice I got I can tell you that whatever you choose will not be easy. Ask yourself this, which is more important to you? Your friend? Your crush?
Here's the thing my friend wasn't acting like much of a friend anyway. If you and your friend are close, and if your friendship is more important, remain friends and both of you agree to forget about the guy, if your drifting apart....

Talk to your friend and tell her how you feel about him and how your friendship is important. If he likes you and not her, and she is obsessed with him then it's gonna hurt for all of you. I know what this feels like, i have been through something like this before.
There is always a risk that a guy will come in between your friendship but you have to be honest with your friend on how you are feeling though.
In my opinion
if the two of you like each other you should go for it.
