Call me a skeptic or whatever, but I usually google the first few lines to see if this was original or if he copied it from somewhere else. Most of the time, they're copied from somewhere else. For better or worse, this bothers me, seeing as he'll usually say something like "I wrote this because........"No, you didn't write it...Should that bother me at all? What do you think? Im pretty sure many women would be thrilled to have a boyfriend who actually reads poetry, and not only that but also quote his favourite poems to you....
Of course, he could also be a jerk who's trying to court you. You make the choice, we don't know him enough to tell.

I don't don't think that telling him or sending him e-mails with famous lyrics would be a could idea.He cares and sends you nice things...so don't ask him...he is just finding his feelings from other peoples words...it's nice i thing))

Okay, if he claims it's his--then yes, I'd have a problem too. Send him a poem back:
Roses are red
Violets are blue
You must think I'm stupid
But I'm onto you
Just a suggestion. BUT, I agree with oldersister...sending him something back well known claiming that you wrote it will probably be a nicer way of saying you know he didn't write the poems. He would probably be really embarrassed, so it's probably something you should make light of.
