Hey everybody.

I was wondering if anybody could help me on the update of the ex-boyfriend situation!

My Ex recently started talking to me again, to which I did not object, and when he asked why I had been ignoring him, my reply was "I needed time."

The big worry is, we were best friends. I missed him so much during the time I was ignoring him. It feels great to have his friendship back but I feel guilty because I know that's not all I want. I want him back. He just wants to go back to being best friends! I am worried I've fallen in love with him. I want to meet new people but all the boys I know are just friends! I only want him, but I know if he asked me out again I wouldn't let myself say yes.

You could say I'm a bit confused... =)

Please Help!

Thanks! x.x.x

duskyrowe agony auntI'm in a similar situation as you, I broke up with my boyfriend 3 weeks ago. We are gonna remain good friends and I also still have strong feelings for him still too. My advice to you is under no circumstances do you reveal that you are still hung up on him or it may backfire on you. First give each other space, to access the situation. Then if you feel strong enough to remain good friends with him then go ahead. Go to the movies or a drink with him have fun

, but please do not end up in bed with him otherwise that will spoil everything and you don't wanna end up being used. If he does ask you out on a date, explain to him that you guys are gonna have to take things slowly so that you don't end up getting hurt and you would like to be his friend for a while, so you can sort out whether being an item again is such a good idea. Good luck hun x

Lostandalone agony auntBeing friends with an ex is a difficult thing, especially when you still have feelings for them. You need to take your time and resolve these issues. You obviously went back to soon as you still have feelings for him. Meeting and dating other guys would be pointless at this stage. You have to be mentally and emotionally stable enough to see him. It takes different amounts of time for different people and sometimes one never finds that strength. My ex and I broke up in December and I still can't bring myself to just be her friend and we were in a relationship for 7 years!!! You have to figure out if you want him as a friend or a boyfriend and then pursue it. Tell him how you feel. If he wants no part of a relationship it would be best for you to stay away, as much as it hurts. You have to cope with your feelings alone. Seeing him only lengthens your healing process. Good Luck.

OMG i know exactly how you feel, me and my boyfriend just broke up and im not sure that if he asked for me back that i would really say yes but i do know that i need his love in my life. I cant stand being friends and i dont know what to do either. My best advice is to let him know how you feel. and if he objects to getting back or feels weird. Then you'll know that you need to move on, have your time and continue being goodfriends with him again when your actually ready for FRIENDS

jack23 agony auntI think firstly you need to establish wheather or not you want him back, if you were to say no them it would be worth trying to work things as friends. Otherwise you should talk to him and explain how you feel, if he does just want to be friends and you feel you could deal with it then it should all work out fine.

If you dont feel you can handle this then tell him, so that hes not left in the dark, and explain that you want to keep a distance as its not fair on you.

Good luck :)
