reader, anonymous, writes (19 January 2011): Painful, continuous erection when exceeds 4 hour, it is called priapism. Priapism is an emergency medical condition and must be attended in emergency department. But your description suggests that it's not that severe, yet.
So "no need to get panicked"
but "please please consult your doctor as soon as possible". . .
. . . And could you later let us know what your doctor says?. . .

Please go and see a doctor and get a referral to a urologist. This isn't the place to get medical advice; you need a qualified opinion as Guillaume says.
