I've had brown discharge (I think it has blood in it) and some definate blood, little clots. I'm not sure if this is because of how I've messed up taking the pill this month or something else. I've heard of break through bleeding but its been about a week on and off now. Has anyone else experienced this? What could be the reason? Thanks. X

I think you're generally meant to restart taking the pill when your period comes on again, which it sounds like it's just about to. How many days have you missed since you last took the pill? If it's been more than 5 minimum, I would say start again as normal but I'm not an expert. The best option is to go to the clinic asap, or if you can't do that, ring them.

If it continues after the 7 days I will go to the clinic, I don't think it will though. Thanks for your help! Glad to know I'm not alone. X

Don't worry, it is normal! I dropped my entire Microgynon 30 packet on the London tube on the way to my boyfriend's and I was there for an entire week without being able to take it! About 3 days after I'd arrived my period (very lightly) started a week early because my body had reacted to the lack of the pill. It sounds like you're going through the exact same thing, but you should go down to the clinic soon as to find out when to start taking them again.
