I just went on a second date with a guy (whom I think will turn out to be just a good friend) but on the way to the bar I spotted my ex who I was with for 6 years and who broke up with me 8 months ago! He was walking ahead so its quite possible he spotted me with my date! Then in the resturant we were half way through our meal when I suddenly realised the guy on the opposite table was the guy I dated after my ex for a couple of months but who dumped me when he met someone else!!!!!!!!!! The reason I didnt clock him straight away was because he'd put on a lot of weight since I was with him! Could this all mean something or is it just a cruel conscience?????

The world is full of coincidences. I think it more implies that you are already having subconscious thoughts that this new guy is definitely not right for you (as you stated). So, perhaps you're just looking for some reinforcement that isn't right for you.
He's not right for you.
If you date in the same area you used to with those two guys, it's not surprising that they might be there.
