A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

I met this guy in a pub last night . We got talking and at the end of the night, we swapped numbers. I text him telling him that i enjoyed it, and that i hoped to see him again, and he text me back saying he would like to see me again and said he thought i was stunning. i replied saying thanks and said i would text him again soon and we could arrange to meet up. He said he would like that and he said i had gorgeous eyes and a beautiful smile. I didn't reply to that one, as i didnt know what to say, as it sounded simialr to the last text he sent. I'm not sure whether to just get in touch with him when i want to go out with him again, but i'm not sure when that will be, as it could be any time up to a week from now, but i dont want to leave it that long to text him in a way as he might think i'm not interested any more. And, if i text him sooner, just to chat, i'm not sure what to say to him. What do you think ?.He seems like a nice guy, and this guy who knows my mother was in the pub too, and he also knew this guy and he said he is a nice person.

Shouldn't he ask YOU out? You've done just about everything except write the script for him? Its probably a good idea to just relax and let him do some of the groundwork. you don't know yet if he is just responding to be polite or if he fancies you enough to do some chasing of his own.
