writes:Ok so here's the thing...i met this guy online and well...ok lemme start from the beginning...ok...so me n him met in a random room n started talking. At first i thought he was a goofball who i wudn't be interested in at all. We talked for like...i don't even kno how long but i cud feel that we had some chemistry so i asked him to be my boyfriend.Over time i've noticed that he's not so much a "goof ball" but that's more his personality. He does actually have a really romantic side and he says he loves me a lot. Sometimes he even says i'm the only reason he comes online. I feel the same about him, cept like i've tried getting him 2 call me a few times but he's been busy and i understand that...it's in my personality 2 be understanding lol.Oh yea, a lil about us b4 i go on. He's from Canada and i'm from the USA so it's not 2 bad in distance but could be better. I'm gonna be a senior in high school and he's just about to graduate from high school and go to a community college somewhere up there where he lives.Anyways, we wanna meet someday and people say our love is so strong that we should and we've talked about meeting and how exciting it would be and what we would do n stuff lolThe question i have is...if we did meet, based on what i've said above...wud we last past meeting and maybe start going out in real life if we like met in college or whatever?Thankz for ur help guys!Luv ya'll!...yes i'm southern :P Reply to this Question

reader, anonymous, writes (19 June 2007): Well, it seems really weird that he is always "too busy" to talk to you on the phone. Think about it, how much time do you guys spend chatting online? And he can't call you for 5 minutes? My thinking is that he's not who he says he is. Maybe he's older, or maybe he is foreign like Indian or something. People lie most of the time in chat rooms. So please if you meet him, make it in a public place with a lot of ppl. around in the day time. Be very weary if he only wants to see you in a secluded place where there is no one around.
