Question - (7 November 2012) 5 Answers - (Newest, 7 November 2012)
A male United States age , anonymous writes:

Does a woman in menopause orgasm? Does her sexdrive diminish during or after menopause? I'm at the age where women in my age bracket are menopausal and find it difficult to find women over 50 interested in sex. I'm a very attractable guy for 52 and don't understand why women I meet or know have little to no interest in sex. Is it menopause?

A female reader, anonymous, writes (7 November 2012):

I don't think is that they are not interested in sex. I think at that age women get to sex part not as fast as they did in younger years, as they got wiser, and sex only is not fulfilling anymore.

May be that's what u are after, sex and sex only. And women in your age bracket are not willing to do it with you as they understand clearly your intentions?

As for age and lack of desire, I m not quite there yet, couple more years, but for me sex is even hotter than it was when I was in my 20s. So for my friends.

eyeswideopen agony auntI started menopause at age 50 and am now 60 but still have an occasional hot flash, gotta love those on a humid 95 degree day! But in the bedroom it's been business as usual and I still get a kick out of the old man.

mystiquek agony auntI just turned 51. I've been in menopause for over 2 years now. My needs and wants sexually are as high or even higher than when I was younger. I'd love to be intimate every day if it were possible. My guy is 6 years younger than me and can't keep up with me. I do find my body needs more lubrication than before but that is the only difference for me. And oh yes, a woman can still have an orgasm after starting menopause...without a doubt (*wink*)
